With the completion of the SustainACT: Advancing Community Ties project, the final team
meeting was held, marking the official closure of a meaningful and impactful 12-month
journey. During the meeting, the team reflected on the overall implementation of the project,
reviewed the final deliverables, confirmed the results achieved, and documented the key
lessons learned throughout the process.

Through the implementation of SustainACT, we learned that change begins with small,
consistent actions. We experienced the power of collaboration with schools, local
stakeholders, and businesses, and recognized the value of non-formal learning in empowering young people.
We also understood how essential proper planning, monitoring,
and evaluation are for the success of a community-based initiative. As a team, we further
developed our leadership, communication, project management, and digital dissemination
skills, strengthening our commitment to active participation and environmental responsibility.

The end of the project does not mark the end of our efforts. On the contrary, it represents a
new starting point for the continued dissemination and exploitation of the project’s results. The
educational materials, tools, best practices, and conclusions developed throughout the project
will continue to be shared through our website, social media channels, and partnerships,
aiming to inspire other communities. SustainACT leaves behind a strong legacy: an
empowered youth team, a network of collaborations, and a sustainable model of action that
can be further developed and replicated in the future.
