Implementation of School Activities
In September 2025, within the framework of the SustainACT project, interactive awareness-
raising presentations were successfully delivered in two primary schools: KE’ Ekali Primary
School in Limassol and KSt’ Panagia Tricherousa Primary School, following approval from the
respective school administrations.
Our visit included an interactive presentation entitled “Reducing Food Waste – Small Actions,
Big Change”, lasting 30–40 minutes and specifically tailored for primary school students.
Through real-life examples, short activities, and engaging educational material, pupils were
informed about the issue of food waste and encouraged to adopt positive environmental
habits that they can apply both at school and at home. The students’ response was highly
encouraging, reaffirming the importance of environmental education from an early age.
