“Media Sapiens – Creative Promotional Tools in Youth Work ” is a 5 days partnership building activity (PBA) with participation of 13 partner organisations (19 participants plus 5 team members ) from Programme and Neighbouring Partner Countries. The project will take place in the Cava de Tirreni / Vietri sul mare from 9th to 14th of December 2012 and will be organised by the NGO Agenzia per la Promozione dei giovani in co-operation with the Estonian youth organisation Life Zone.

  • The main aim is to improve partnerships and to allow participants to find new partners, in hopes of future mutual projects and creation of a network.
  • The objectives of PBA is to raise youth workers awareness on using creative promotional tools as form of effective communication with different target groups and stakeholders by sharing best experiences and working on common future creative ideas. The tools are essential to use in order to create more impact by raising the visibility of youth work and improving the dissemination and exploitation of youth projects results, as well as to promote European awareness, active youth participation, networking, volunteerism and the principles and opportunities of the Youth in Action programme in the local, regional and wider communities.
  • The methodology of work includes variety of methods suitable for reaching the goal and objectives of the project – intercultural and self-directed learning, learning-by-doing, direct participation, experimental learning and workshops, open space technologies.
  • Target group is youth workers and project managers who are involved and interested in effectively using creative media as tools for valorisation and exploitation of results of implemented projects and follow-up actions and build partnership with new contacts.
  • Besides equipping the participants with advanced knowledge and applicable skills, the project aims through its inter-cultural dimension to develop awareness for the cultural diversity as largest wealth of our common Europe and strengthen the present feeling of belonging to Europe at the young people targeted with the activities.
