Our project «ΥοuthAct NOW – Empowering communities through food rescue initiatives in Limassol», is supported by the programme European Solidarity Corps.

The goals of the project are:

  • The empowerment of community outreach of our youth, by showing their solidarity, through offering dinner to vulnerable student groups.
  • Raising awareness for businesses active in the food and meal preparation industry and encouraging them to offer meals from unsold or surplus food that is safe for humans, in the form of donations.
  • Finally, lessening the impact of food waste (discarding safe or surplus food to trash) as a form of sustainable activity.
