Informational Leaflet for Schools and Households
As part of the SUSTAIN ACT project, we have developed an informational leaflet for schools
aiming to strengthen children’s environmental awareness through simple and practical
everyday actions. The leaflet presents, in a clear and child-friendly way, why it is important to
care for our planet, how we can reduce food waste, and which sustainable habits can be
adopted both at school and at home. Through small actions, children learn that they can
make a big difference.
In addition, we have created the household challenge leaflet “1 Week Without Food Waste”,
addressed to families and featuring 7 engaging and practical activities to help reduce food
waste. Each day of the challenge encourages family members to reflect, plan their meals,
make use of leftovers, and adopt more sustainable habits, turning learning into a creative and
collaborative experience.
